S meet M?I got this first volume after seeing the trailer for the upcoming anime。 I thought it would be like Teasing Master Takagi-san, where the teasing is more wholesome, but if things continue they way they were in this intro volume, I don’t know if I’ll be along for the ride。 There’s hints throughout that she isn’t all bad and isn’t teasing him like she is because she’s a horrible person, but I’ve seen treating like this for real, and it didn’t end well for any involved。 Hopefully things sha S meet M?I got this first volume after seeing the trailer for the upcoming anime。 I thought it would be like Teasing Master Takagi-san, where the teasing is more wholesome, but if things continue they way they were in this intro volume, I don’t know if I’ll be along for the ride。 There’s hints throughout that she isn’t all bad and isn’t teasing him like she is because she’s a horrible person, but I’ve seen treating like this for real, and it didn’t end well for any involved。 Hopefully things shape up so I can enjoy the teasing and not cringe at a lot of it, because I’ve heard it does get better。 。。。more

Kind of funnyA bit on the adult humor side, but not as much as some。 It still maintains a possibly realistic tone。

TLDR: It is a rough volume。 You're not going to read it and love it。 There is some scenes where it is pretty much straight up bullying。 There is some pretty blatant fan service and it seems a bit much。 However, if you read the first 2 volumes, you may end up liking it。Longer Review: This is a tough review。 I would like to preface it with a few things。 First, I was definitely the type to try the "be mean to the person you like" when I was young so I can understand a bit of what the characters are TLDR: It is a rough volume。 You're not going to read it and love it。 There is some scenes where it is pretty much straight up bullying。 There is some pretty blatant fan service and it seems a bit much。 However, if you read the first 2 volumes, you may end up liking it。Longer Review: This is a tough review。 I would like to preface it with a few things。 First, I was definitely the type to try the "be mean to the person you like" when I was young so I can understand a bit of what the characters are doing, but sometimes it is a bit much。 Particularly in the first few chapters。 It is a really rough start that makes you want to just drop the manga as a whole。 However, the last few chapters of the novel are a bit more redeemable。 It is not quite enough to save the volume, and it was not really enough for me to say I like it, but it is something to hint at the possibility that the series may find its footing soon。 There is also a bit of fan service that just bothers me。 The story feels a bit forced during this point。 It honestly feels like a guilty pleasure manga as you read it。 The type of thing that if your friend brought it up you might talk about, but you wouldn't openly advertise or advocate。 Some of the more comedic parts also feel a bit cliche which lessons their effect。 This is just my personal opinion。 I would give it a 2。5 probably, but I round up so I gave it a 3。 I enjoy the volume more after reading more of the series, but on an initial read it is really tough to enjoy or get into。Side Note: The first volume is by far the worst。 I have a rule with manga that I try to read the first 2 or 3 volumes before deciding whether or not to drop it。 If not for that, I probably would have dropped it after volume 1。 However, by volume 3 I actually started to enjoy it a bit。 The series becomes very enjoyable。 I would say at least read until volume 2 and if you still do not like it you can drop it。 Just my personal recommendation for this series。 。。。more

Don't Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro, Vol。 1 (My Kindle Review)Miss Nagatoro sure loves to tease and mess with our protagonist。 He's a shy high schooler who likes to do art and becomes the target of her over playful behavior。 She's definitely like a more evil version of Uzaki-Chan and it's easy to see why。 There are some funny moments that doesn't make this manga completely harsh, but it's story for now doesn't really evolve, until a small clue at the end of the story。 Maybe this girl has a sweet si Don't Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro, Vol。 1 (My Kindle Review)Miss Nagatoro sure loves to tease and mess with our protagonist。 He's a shy high schooler who likes to do art and becomes the target of her over playful behavior。 She's definitely like a more evil version of Uzaki-Chan and it's easy to see why。 There are some funny moments that doesn't make this manga completely harsh, but it's story for now doesn't really evolve, until a small clue at the end of the story。 Maybe this girl has a sweet side for him after all。 B (75%/Good) 。。。more

Im just not down with the excessive bullying, It makes the basis of the relationship very toxic and I just can't gel with it at all。 From what I've seen the dynamic does not change much other than Senpai starts to stand up for himself。 Im just not down with the excessive bullying, It makes the basis of the relationship very toxic and I just can't gel with it at all。 From what I've seen the dynamic does not change much other than Senpai starts to stand up for himself。 。。。more

She’s rude, can’t keep her hands to herself, and #TeamTooMuch, and he’s got no backbone whatsoever。 Nagatoro needs to get her life in order。 She's the main one talking about the MC is a wimpy, virgin-loser boy, yet she's so thirsty for him。 What does that make you, Nagatoro? I really don't know how to feel about this one。 The characters seem a bit unlikeable but also seem to regret their actions and show signs of actually just falling into bad habits due to outside influences, which makes me want to read further。 There's also some very male gaze-y bits but there's also a theme of "young folks in over their heads when faced with the reality of their sexuality" which is a take on high school I enjoy reading much more。 I really don't know how to feel about this one。 The characters seem a bit unlikeable but also seem to regret their actions and show signs of actually just falling into bad habits due to outside influences, which makes me want to read further。 There's also some very male gaze-y bits but there's also a theme of "young folks in over their heads when faced with the reality of their sexuality" which is a take on high school I enjoy reading much more。 。。。more

Finished volume 1 in one sitting。 I actually liked it。。。though the titular character is a bonafide asshole。It's sort of reminiscent of Teasing Master Takagi-San, only Nagatoro is WAY meaner and belittling and the main character would rather just have nothing to do with her at all。 It's "cringe" comedy in manga form and definitely not for everyone and definitely NOT a guide to real relationships。 Takagi-san by contrast is much sweeter & wholesome because the male protagonist is nearly always the Finished volume 1 in one sitting。 I actually liked it。。。though the titular character is a bonafide asshole。It's sort of reminiscent of Teasing Master Takagi-San, only Nagatoro is WAY meaner and belittling and the main character would rather just have nothing to do with her at all。 It's "cringe" comedy in manga form and definitely not for everyone and definitely NOT a guide to real relationships。 Takagi-san by contrast is much sweeter & wholesome because the male protagonist is nearly always the instigator and keeps getting hoisted on his own petard because Takagi-san is too smart。 The joke is his immaturity blinds him to the fact that Takagi-san likes him。 Girls do tend to mature faster than boys and Takagi-san just has to bide her time until Nishikata figures it out。 In Nagatoro, it is the titular character who is the most immature one。 Her Senpai is a tad more mature but inexperienced。。。。a shy artist who keeps to himself。The truth is they're both immature DORKS who don't know how to have a proper conversation or show interest or affection。 Nagatoro comes on WAY too strong, has a definite mean streak bordering on sadism。 Only she is 1 year younger than the main character and sometimes gets a little unexpected comeuppance which rattles her and (temporarily) put her in her place。 There are little tells here and there that reveal Nagatoro does have buried feelings for her Senpai, and therefore she is flirting on some level but her assholish, bullying nature gets in the way, muddying the matter considerably and leaving her Senpai frustrated and confused。 It's hard enough picking up on flirtation as a teen boy under the best of circumstances。。。。even worse when Nagatoro deliberately sends mixed signals, ultimately potentially undermining her own happiness。 Perhaps she's bipolar and can't decide if she wants to find happiness in an actual romantic relationship or just stick with the cheap glee of indulging her sadism as a bully。 I do think she's torn between these two poles, that these two impulses are at war inside her own heart。 She's not completely irredeemable---yet。 But the longer the mangaka stretches out this gag, the less sympathetic Nagatoro becomes as an ultimately redeemable if flawed love interest。 I can easily see this series painting itself into a corner or getting stuck in a rut。 I do plan to continue the series but it may well come to test my patience。 。。。more

This is a good manga but I must warn you to not take this manga seriously。 The main character is really relatable, but some characters show some toxic traits。 Of course, it has to be said that this is not a kids' manga (13+), and is a bit sexual at parts。 But when all is said and done this manga is really good, but really short。 This is a good manga but I must warn you to not take this manga seriously。 The main character is really relatable, but some characters show some toxic traits。 Of course, it has to be said that this is not a kids' manga (13+), and is a bit sexual at parts。 But when all is said and done this manga is really good, but really short。 。。。more

Review for up to volume 4 (I read most of my manga online and the scanlation group for this helpfully has the volumes listed, yay!) because I hate reviewing individual volumes of manga。Horribly problematic, and yet, super fun。 The original title was "Don't Bully Me, Nagatoro-san," and that's not only much more honest, it's such a better title! Currently a 7/10, though it can become an 8 due to the fluffiness and development of the main characters in the latest ten or so chapters。 Starts off a bit rough, arguably, if you can’t deal with “bullying”/heavy verbal ridiculing for entertainment, but it eventually all mellows out into mostly troll-ish ribbing/rough teasing as you go along。 Nice and fluffy, mildly funny filler if you’re looking for something easy and fun to read。

The relationship that characters in Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! have is fun to watch。 Teasing Master Takagi-san is adorable and cute。 This is just terrible。 Nagatoro isn't just teasing Senpai (a stereotypical nerd) or simply toying with him, she straight up bullies him。 And we're supposed to accept it because she's cute I guess。 Well there is that and it does get some laughs, it is not the worst thing in the world, but you mostly just feel sorry for the guy in this story。Would recommend if you The relationship that characters in Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! have is fun to watch。 Teasing Master Takagi-san is adorable and cute。 This is just terrible。 Nagatoro isn't just teasing Senpai (a stereotypical nerd) or simply toying with him, she straight up bullies him。 And we're supposed to accept it because she's cute I guess。 Well there is that and it does get some laughs, it is not the worst thing in the world, but you mostly just feel sorry for the guy in this story。Would recommend if you're into femdom I suppose。 。。。more

I've enjoyed Teasing Master Takagi-San, and Uzaki-Chan Wants to hang out, but was a bit torn by this one at first。 Miss Nagatoro seems more like a bully than just a bit of a tease。 There were several times where I identified with the main character, in that I to just push my feelings down from the constant ass holes who bullied me in school, but there is an eventual breaking point, and I'm not sure what's going to happen when he eventually reaches that。 I've enjoyed Teasing Master Takagi-San, and Uzaki-Chan Wants to hang out, but was a bit torn by this one at first。 Miss Nagatoro seems more like a bully than just a bit of a tease。 There were several times where I identified with the main character, in that I to just push my feelings down from the constant ass holes who bullied me in school, but there is an eventual breaking point, and I'm not sure what's going to happen when he eventually reaches that。 。。。more

So basically I began reading this manga because I heard it from anitubers (The Anime Man) talk about it and there's an anime adaption in the works。 I read the 63 chapters (not gonna lie, it is an addictive read) and honestly I think reading 63 chapters were enough for me to say, this ain't for me chief。。。。All you're getting is a teen girl who constantly downgrades, mocks and pretty much harrasses a guy older than her just because he doesn't stand up for himself。 You don't realise how many times So basically I began reading this manga because I heard it from anitubers (The Anime Man) talk about it and there's an anime adaption in the works。 I read the 63 chapters (not gonna lie, it is an addictive read) and honestly I think reading 63 chapters were enough for me to say, this ain't for me chief。。。。All you're getting is a teen girl who constantly downgrades, mocks and pretty much harrasses a guy older than her just because he doesn't stand up for himself。 You don't realise how many times I've tried to drop this manga altogether but yeah I just feel it's just so controlling and very aggressive。 That's not a good thing to start a relationship full stop。。。。The only good thing about this manga is that it's art is pretty nice but the rest, I might as well want to forget about it。。。。。 。。。more

Schadenfreude (Noun) - pleasure derived by someone from another person's misfortune。What the heck。。。I can see how this book can turn into something more but seeing Nagatoro teasing the unfortunate nameless Sempai (who is a Junior and she is a Sophmore so even the description is wrong) to the point of tears is freaking insane。 Normally at this point I would mention things that could potentially offend in this book like when Nagatoro accidentally hands on his crotch after falling or when she inadv Schadenfreude (Noun) - pleasure derived by someone from another person's misfortune。What the heck。。。I can see how this book can turn into something more but seeing Nagatoro teasing the unfortunate nameless Sempai (who is a Junior and she is a Sophmore so even the description is wrong) to the point of tears is freaking insane。 Normally at this point I would mention things that could potentially offend in this book like when Nagatoro accidentally hands on his crotch after falling or when she inadvertently does a video call to Sempai (who is an idiot for letting her have his number unless he really secretly gets excited by her juvenile inability to express feelings。)Yes those things are there but unlike a normal Tsundere who may strike someone she likes because she can't express herself we find Nagatoro viscously attacking Sempai not physically but mentally and emotionally which is by far one of the worse forms of bullying out there。 Do you disagree with me? A person can heal from being hit but the moment they are convinced they are pathetic and less then others it is possible to destroy their lives which is how many abusive relationships end up destroying the lives of people。 Even after the toxic instigator has been removed from their lives。No。。。while Nagatoro might have a thing for weaker guys who are bashful I certainly hope this new form of Tsundere does not become commonplace in the market as it has the potential to be harmful to anyone who hasn't been able to deal with their own abused pasts or are simply sensitive to such things。 The little self doubts of Nagatoro in between chapters are hardly an apology to the readers that have tried this series。 Maybe if the series ends someday I might hop in and glance to see if Nagatoro stops acting like a grade schooler and things work out or she finally gets her just deserts。 I'd be fine with either ending。 By the way I like the art of the book as it is a bit simple but the characters are also expressive and well drawn。 I also like that all people outside of sempai's world are eyeless and basically background characters but when Nagatori brings him back his manga work suddenly her eyes come into focus making these two the only real characters in the story。 If only she was not an obnoxiously toxic witch that showed maybe some sign of remorse now and then to sempai to show she is not all bad and that he actually is pretty good at certain things。 。。。more

I'm not 100% sure whether I like this or not。 The bullying was somewhat extreme to the point of being uncomfortable to read and often goes into territories of sexual assault and treating it as humour (though I guess this is par for the course with anime and manga in general and the sexual harassment moment did seem to be starting to make a commentary on this, even if it failed to follow through)。But it does show signs of exploring this more, and for the most part the bullying at least is never a I'm not 100% sure whether I like this or not。 The bullying was somewhat extreme to the point of being uncomfortable to read and often goes into territories of sexual assault and treating it as humour (though I guess this is par for the course with anime and manga in general and the sexual harassment moment did seem to be starting to make a commentary on this, even if it failed to follow through)。But it does show signs of exploring this more, and for the most part the bullying at least is never a point of humour so perhaps there is hope for it yet。 Perhaps it's going to do something more meaningful with it, so I've decided I'll read the next volume just to see where it's going and if it evolves。All-in-all it wasn't bad。 The art style is good, the story pace is good and there are a few great moments, it just seems a little heavy on the bullying and sexual harassment, but again, will see if this improves。 。。。more
